Why I was inspired to create my own balm.
Like most women venturing into the uncharted waters of motherhood, I found myself swimming in questions and doubts about what was truly “best for baby.” And like so many others, I was determined to find answers.
Before my pregnancy, I ran a small business crafting organic candles and soaps. My journey into this world began when I realised how many everyday products are loaded with harmful chemicals—petroleum-based ingredients, synthetic fragrances, and other toxins that do more harm than good to our lungs and skin.
As I delved deeper into the world of natural living, I couldn’t help but scrutinise other personal care items, particularly moisturising creams. Did you know that your skin is the largest organ in your body? It’s shocking how many products marketed for “skin health” contain questionable ingredients.
When I became pregnant, life shifted. Moving abroad meant pausing my small business, but my passion for creating natural alternatives only grew stronger. My first project during pregnancy was a balm for my own growing belly—something to nourish and moisturise my stretching skin and help prevent stretch marks.
As my due date approached, a new question emerged: What about my baby’s skin? Surely, a newborn’s delicate skin deserved the absolute best. I went to countless shops, scanning the ingredients of baby lotions. Glycerin, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Petrolatum—half of the ingredients were unpronounceable, and many of them were petroleum-derived. Even the “organic” options weren’t much better.
That’s when inspiration struck. I already knew the benefits of natural ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, castor oil, and beeswax. These were fantastic for my skin, but could they work for my baby? Weeks of research confirmed what I hoped—many of these simple, natural ingredients were perfect for a baby’s sensitive skin. I began experimenting and soon created a balm that was gentle, effective, and entirely free of synthetic additives.
I thought it was just for us—until I began sharing it with other expecting mothers. To my surprise, many of them were grappling with the same questions I had faced. The more I shared, the more I realised something important: not every mother has the time, energy, or resources to research and create their own natural products. Preparing for a baby is already overwhelming, and adding DIY skincare to the list can feel impossible.
That’s when it clicked. My journey into motherhood—and my passion for creating natural, safe alternatives—wasn’t just for me. It was for other mothers too. That’s why I decided to share my balms with the world. My mission is simple: to help mothers provide the gentlest care for their little ones and, in turn, make their lives a little easier.

My pledge to you
Becoming a mother opened my eyes to the importance of knowing exactly what we put on our skin—especially the delicate skin of our little ones. From the very beginning, my goal has been simple: to create products that are as safe, gentle, and pure as they can possibly be.
I promise you that every ingredient in my balms has been carefully chosen with you and your baby in mind. Each one is natural, made with organic ingredients and cruelty-free. There are no synthetic additives, no hidden toxins, and absolutely no compromises. Just honest, wholesome ingredients sourced from nature.
My mission is to make the lives of mums and their babies a little easier by providing skincare that works effortlessly, helping to soothe, nourish, and protect. Whether it’s keeping your baby’s skin soft and smooth or giving you peace of mind, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Because every mum deserves to feel confident in the care they provide, and every baby deserves the gentlest start in life.

FAQ
Is your baby balm safe for newborns?
Yes! Our All Over Balm is made with organic and natural ingredients, including shea butter, jojoba oil, castor oil, and beeswax, making it gentle and safe for newborns’ delicate skin. It contains no artificial fragrances, parabens, or harmful chemicals.
Can I use your balm on other parts of my baby’s body?
Yes! This the All Over Balm is great for dry skin, chapped lips, cradle cap, rough patches, and even minor cuts or scrapes. It’s designed to nourish and protect the skin from head to toe. We do suggest avoiding areas around the eyes and mouth as these are quite delicate on a baby.
How often should I apply the balm?
You can apply it as often as needed. For dry or irritated skin, use it 2-3 times a day or whenever you notice dryness. For diaper rash prevention, apply a thin layer at each diaper change.
Which balm is best for diaper rash?
Either the All Over Balm or the Calming Balm. The difference is that the All Over Balm can be used from any age while the Calming Balm contains essential oils and therefore we recommend to wait until 3 months before using it. Both balms contain a combination of shea butter and beeswax which creates a protective barrier while jojoba and castor oils help soothe irritated skin. It helps prevent and heal diaper rash naturally.
Do your balms have a strong scents?
Our balms have a mild, natural scent from the ingredients themselves—no artificial fragrances are added, making it perfect for sensitive skin and noses.
Can adults use any of the balms too?
Yes! I use the All Over Balm and Face Balm on my body and face all the time! Our balms are perfect for anyone looking for a natural moisturiser. It works great for dry hands, cracked heels, cuticles, and even as a lip balm. The whole family can benefit from its nourishing properties.
